1. Use a Lazy Susan
A lazy susan is a great way to keep all of your spices organized so you can reach any of them quickly. Purchase a small, cabinet-sized one if you don't have one built in already. Stop hunting through a cabinet full of randomspices. Organize them, give the lazy susan a spin and find what you need right away. This solution works well for cans and containers as well.
2. Place Baskets Above Top Cabinets
If you have extra space above your top cabinets, use it to store appliances or cookware that you don't use that often. Organize your extras in pretty baskets, and they will be out of sight and out of mind until you need them.
3. Install a Cork board
If your kitchen is overrun by paper clutter or small objects, consider hanging a cork board inside your cabinet door. A corkboard is the perfect place to hang keys, recipes and measuring spoons, keeping them off the counter and out of your way.
4. Use Magazine Holders, Bins and Baskets
Keep your cupboards organized by using a variety of magazine holders, bins and baskets. Magazine holders are the perfect size and shape for holding aluminum foil and plastic wrap containers. Baskets are great for holding sauce mixes, packets of nuts and other small miscellaneous items.
5. Install Extra Shelves
The large cupboards under the kitchen sink are often the most wasted space in the kitchen. Maximize this space by installing extra shelves. Then, you will have plenty of room to place cookware, cleaning supplies, the crockpot, potatoes and whatever else you have on hand.
